Soquel Game

We knew Soquel was a well coached team of guys who have been playing together a long time and that familiarity and chemistry really made them formidable.  Holding them to 42 points (we can do better especially in the first half) and the strong shooting of senior Nick McCue (four three pointers) was enough to handle the Knights.

One of the highlights of the game was when our football team arrived into the gym during the game after a long trip home from Carson, CA where they played an amazing game.  They stayed in the stands and watched our game.  Those are my guys, I love them and they played their hearts out in the State game.  All of us at Bellarmine are so proud of them being our Northern California Champions.  Especially if you figure that Northern California is bigger than most every other state in the country and California would economically be the seventh largest country in the world if it was a country...I would say they are one ELITE football team.

With the football season over it also means we get deeper on the basketball team.  Senior big man Tony Galli and junior Kenny Olugbode join us and will definitely make us better.  Looking forward to having those guys in basketball uniforms.
